Berkeley Homes is currently under contract with Loftus Development to build 45 alley-loaded, for-sale townhomes near the northeast corner of Independence Street and Ralston Road. This approximately three-acre site was the former Safeway store parcel and phase two of the Ralston Creek project.
Objectives for the project include an urban feel, activation of the “main street” through the center of the entire Ralston Creek project site, an additional 57 overflow parking spaces for The Shops at Ralston Creek and a connection to the Ralston Creek Regional bike and pedestrian trail.
Townhomes are planned to be three stories with attached two-car garages and 1,350 to 1,650 square feet. They will be targeted to first and second time home buyers, and empty nesters.
