On October 13, 2003, the Arvada City Council unanimously approved a 25-year urban renewal plan to enhance, redevelop, and/or revitalize three major areas. These areas include: 1) Ralston Fields District, 2) former Ridge Home Site, and 3) dated shopping centers in the vicinity of 58th Avenue and Independence referred to as the Triangle Area and the Lutz/Stenger Sports Complex.
