Shops at Olde Town Station (formerly named Arvada Town Center) presents a unique opportunity for the City of Arvada to develop an underutilized parcel along Wadsworth Boulevard and to provide a hotel, retail stores and restaurants that will benefit Arvada residents and visitors to our city. When combined with the Residences at Olde Town Station (formerly named Olde Town Residences) on the north side, Shops at Olde Town Station will create activity and commerce that will benefit Arvada. We will be welcoming Snooze, Smashburger, Parry’s Pizza and Cava to name a few.
For many years, Arvada did not have a hotel—but needed the benefits of a recognized hotel to support our city’s economy and attract visitors. With the success of the Hilton Garden Inn, our city is ready for another hotel to bring additional guests and anchor an economic hub along Wadsworth.
Shops at Olde Town Station is perfectly situated on the G Line commuter rail, steps from Olde Town and right off Interstate 70. The hotel will support activity along 56th Avenue and Vance Street, using dual entrances, courtyards and outdoor gathering spaces to create connectivity and movement between the shops, Arvada’s transit hub, Olde Town and the adjacent neighborhoods.
Although Olde Town Station will have more parking than required by city code, the development will be designed for walkability, biking and access through the Gold Line and buses. There are more than 1,200 apartment units within walking distance, using smart urban planning to reduce traffic and provide services and amenities to neighbors.
