Grandview Plaza & Reno Place

The premier corner in Olde Town sat underutilized and blighted.  AURA purchased the two western corners at Olde Wadsworth Boulevard and Grandview Avenue and awarded the project to Landon Enterprises.  Landon constructed three, two-story, mixed-use buildings on the site.  The project has over 38,000 square feet of retail and office space and 110 parking spaces.

The architecture of the buildings, along with the new sidewalks, streetscape and road improvement at two signature corners, blends well with the historic district and adds a new level of energy to the area that had been sorely missing. AURA required that restaurants occupy the corner locations in order to activate the street and attract people restoring the intersection’s corner of “Main and Main” feel which helped re-establish a key point of entry into Olde Town.  Further, this project served as a catalyst to bring into Olde Town future restaurateurs and retailers.

Award Wining Project – Reno Place won the prestigious ACE Award for Construction Excellence from the Associated General Contractors for Project of the Year under $5 Million; and Grandview Plaza won the Colorado Construction Gold Hardhat Award for 2008 Outstanding Private Project.  See related link to access an article about this project.
