After Arvada Ridge

The Arvada Urban Renewal Authority (AURA) began the eagerly awaited process of redeveloping the former Ridge Home site. It is currently being transformed into a transit-oriented, mixed-use retail and residential community.  The 68-acre site is being developed in three phases.

Phase One: Consists of the Arvada Ridge Market Place, a 260,000 sq. ft. retail development anchored by a Super Target, that opened in 2005.

Phase Two:  Construction is underway on a 380 unit apartment neighborhood. The 15-acre site is located just north of the Super Target Center, but more importantly, this development is located near the Gold Line's transit station - future residents will be able to walk out their door and catch the commuter train.

Phrase Three: Future plans include a transit village with mixed-use retail and residential development.

Phase Three Uses:

· Parcel A - South Side of Ralston Road
Transit Station
Parking Structure
20,000 sq. ft. Retail Plaza
Mid-Rise Condominiums - 140 Units

· Parcel B - North Side of Ralston Road
11.2 Acres
Multi-Family Units
Zoned for 190 - 330 Units
